Popplet is a mind-mapping tool students can use to show the relationship between facts, thoughts, and images. Accounts are free (up to 5 Popplets at a time), and Popplet can be used in a web browser or on iPads with the app. The free iPad app limits you to one Popplet at a time.  See the sample below, and then head over to Popplet to get started on your own!

Model a math concept, explain science concepts like the water cycle or life cycles, tell stories, retell scenes from books, “build” words, reenact a scene from history, define words, show a sequence of events or describe processes, teach new vocabulary words, or create how-to videos.  Stop motion animations can be made using paper, clay, small objects, whiteboards, photos, recycled items, and more!
